Are you an experienced Export Regional Sales Manager, with a proven performance track record in an export sales environment, looking to join a gardening and hand tool supplier? With your past employment experience ideally in Tools, DIY or Retail sector and your experience of managing a sales budget, KPIs and export planning, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of your assigned sales territories. You must be a fluent German speaker.

Job Overview:

Reporting directly to the Export Sales Director, the principal job purpose of the Export Regional Sales Manager will be to ensure the effective management of their assigned sales territories and achievement of respective budgets. Working with existing agents / distributors and identifying and delivering potential business in new and existing markets. The UK Export Regional Sales Manager will be office based with regular travel to sales territories / key markets to ensure the delivery of the export sales strategy by exceeding sales and margin budgets.

Job Description:

  • Plan and implement export strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the business as set out by the Export Sales Director;
  • Responsible and accountable for the regional performance assigned territories;
  • Drive sales growth by developing and maintaining relationships with strategic distribution partners;
  • Deliver sales budget and margin expectations;
  • Identify and report on new business opportunities in target markets in line with the export sales strategy;
  • Compile detailed market reports monthly on activity, actions and key successes in the market as well as keep the Export Director updated with competitor activity;
  • Participate in New Product Development meetings feeding back market needs and potential new product opportunities;
