Job Title: Business Administrator (9 Month FTC)

Overview:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, assisting with the internal operation administering all UK internal sales procedures from order processing to sales invoicing to include business administration, account management, maintaining good customer and service provider relation, applying force when required with late payment.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and communicate haulage rates to both the sales team and customers as required.
  • Organise material delivery to completion to include site specific requirement and customer satisfaction assisting in the rectification of related customer disputes / problems when necessary.
  • Process and administer sales order from quotation through to final payment received with close contact with both the customer and Business Managers.
  • Maintain accurate records throughout the sales process.
  • Raise daily invoice from material delivered, keep record, send statement and chase late payment until final monies received.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English Grade c or equivalent
  • NVQ in Business or Office Administration
  • To be organised and methodical keeping concise records to allow the accuracy of management of the business
  • Manage material delivery from port through to the end user and develop and maintain customer and service provider relations over the long term to enhance company business.
  • Ability to decipher and seek appropriate decision when faced with customer problems / complaints
  • IT skills to fully utilise Company ERP/MRP and CRM systems, Aspect 4 systems and Microsoft Office.
