Job Title: Business Development Manager

Overview:

The Business Development Manager works closely with and supports the Managing Director to maximise income through obtaining new business. In this role you will provide valuable support to a small and very dynamic team and will be comfortable carrying out routine tasks individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, through industry research, new business opportunities and emerging trends and markets to target.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Emailing & updating our existing databases.
  • Planning and executing regular HTML Campaigns to our databases, in line with our Marketing Strategy.
  • First point of contact for all new enquiries and clients.
  • Contacting potential and past clients where relevant.
  • LinkedIn sales generation.
  • Ensuring SEO agency is effective and delivering results in relation to New Business leads.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in small business development, at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong small business understanding and sales focused.
  • Retail industry experience essential.
  • Working knowledge and experience in digital marketing including; SEO, PPC and Google Analytics.
  • A degree/similar qualifications preferable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
