Job Title: Buyer and Administrator

Are you a professional Buyer with experience in the Pharmaceutical industry? Are you looking for join a busy purchasing team within a pharmaceutical wholesaler?

Overview:

Supporting Purchase of pharmaceutical products from EU countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Entering Purchase order to the system and ensure invoice are sent in a timely manner for contract labelling
  • Obtain information on potential new products and locate the cheapest sources anywhere in the EU.
  • Source new products for new license application including costings.
  • Maintain a database of information relating to potential new products.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with the Regulatory affairs department on all issues associated with licensing products.
  • Liaise with the sales department on a regular basis to ensure stock turn is maintained, minimize out of date products and provide excess stock information.
  • Ensure orders are placed in a timely fashion so as to ensure stock is received in advance of being required.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience in a Purchasing department
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent administration experience
  • Confident working in a team
