Job Title: In-house Brand Designer

Job Purpose:

The In-house Brand Designer will be solely dedicated to the design, development and implementation of effective corporate brand communications materials across a wide range of different media and to develop and guide the companies brand alongside the Communications Design team. We are looking for an excellent graphic designer, who can help us take our corporate brand to the next level across all areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Partner for Communication Design, and in consultation with other relevant managers and team leaders; design and deliver internal literature and external communication materials, including:

  • All digital presentations;
  • Printed literature such as brochures for each specialist service, team or project promotions;
  • Internal communications such as corporate brochures, reports, stationery and brand assets;
  • External communications including literature produced for events and thought leadership
  • documents;
  • Marketing materials including press releases, awards submissions and research & innovation project promotions - digital and print.

  • Work with the communications team to build the company's internal brand and roll out collateral to a high standard.
  • Help to manage and maintain companies Image Library.
  • Work with all internal teams, including the Partners, to produce materials for different areas of the business.
  • Look after the day to day content of the companies website and implement a planned web refresh this year.
  • Maintain and implement corporate document templates, and working with all of our teams to assist in delivering high quality brochures and presentations.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

  • Graphic Design degree or equivalent.
  • Experience of internal communications and brand development.
  • Demonstrable previous exposure to professional graphic design environment.

Essential Skills:

  • A quick learner with the ability to understand the business and its functions.
  • Good awareness of design trends and creative thinking as well as a flair for writing and editing content to a high standard.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofing, grammar and spelling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships.
  • A creative team player with a high level of flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively and to respond proactively and when required.
  • Ability to use initiative, work autonomously and be self-motivated.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Customer focused.
  • High level of professional integrity.
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to use relevant graphic design related software (e.g. Adobe Suite, InDesign and Microsoft Office on a PC).
