Do you have experience in a Customer Service environment with an excellent telephone manner? Are you an effective communicator with excellent organisational skills? You will be responsible for the co-ordination of the Hire Equipment, ensuring it is quoted, processed and delivered correctly and on time.

Job Overview:

To ensure maximum effective utilisation of fleet through co-ordination of hires, telephone sales and proactive customer care.

Job Description:

  • Maintain and increase the branch customer database through frequent and regular contact with current customers, prospects and lapsed customers
  • Winning profitable business orders through successful negotiation complying with company/branch policy and procedures
  • Achievement of current set customer care/telesales targets
  • Personal lead generation
  • Ensuring maximum profitable machine utilisation - respecting the pricing policy
  • Ensuring machine availability through liaising with technical staff
  • Meeting customer requirements on delivery
  • Effective deployment of operators
  • Ensure correct completion of all hire related documentation conforming to current company procedures and legislation using current company computer system.
  • Record customer complaints/praise and action as necessary.
  • Liaise with technical staff to ensure that all equipment is ready for the hire and complies with legal and statutory requirements prior to hire. Record on computer system.

  • Excellent selling/negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills building strong, positive relationships with customers and networking with colleagues and contacts
  • Previous customer care/telesales experience an advantage
  • Excellent telephone manner
