Job Title: Digital Marketing Officer

Do you have proven experience in a Digital Marketing role, working on websites and social media campaigns? Do you have experience of analysing data and presenting reports? Overview:

The purpose of this role is to focus on increasing the companies brand presence through the use of the company's website and social media platforms, measuring and reporting on campaign outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Plan, edit, execute and analyse social media campaigns across all the companies' social media channels.
  • Propose, co-ordinate and manage new campaigns or online actions to raise the profile of the company, increasing its competitiveness.
  • Maximise opportunities that key partnerships present, linking online with employers and community groups to extend reach of key messages.
  • Create short student and staff voxpop footage to reinforce key messages online.
  • Provide the Marketing team with content for use across press releases, news articles and corporate collateral.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of social trends, keeping up to date in developments in technology and communication channels; ensuring the company maximises its footprint across the region

Expectations:

The post holder will undertake assigned responsibilities effectively and efficiently, and within regulatory and legislative requirements; achieve individual and departmental targets within the Companies annual planning and staff performance review processes and budgetary constraints and:

  • Be committed to professional self-development, through participation in the company's continuing professional development programme which includes industry based work shadowing, attending seminars, Company conference days and training events appropriate to the job role.
  • Comply with and promote company Health and Safety policies and procedures and to undertake mandatory Health and Safety training as and when necessary.
  • Undertake such other duties as required, commensurate with the grade of the post, as may be reasonably required at the initial place of work or at other locations in the Company.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification (ideally in Digital Marketing or Marketing related discipline).
  • Marketing qualification (e.g. CIM or similar).
  • Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent (achieved or willing to obtain).
  • Equality & Diversity Level 2 (or willing to obtain).
  • Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults (or willing to obtain).

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Digital Marketing role, working on websites and social media campaigns.
  • Experience of analysing data and presenting reports.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
  • Exemplary copywriting and proof reading skills with attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving license and willingness to use own vehicle for work purposes.
