Job Title: QA Manager

Are you an experienced QA Manager educated to degree level in Engineering/Science or related subject? Do you have a working knowledge of ISO 9001? This is an excellent opportunity to join an established global organisation.

Overview:

To ensure that the Quality Assurance department's business strategy, KPIs and operation performance is successfully delivered and to act as the chief internal and external contact for all QA matters.

Responsibilities:

• Management of the Quality Assurance team; coaching, and training in response to problems and to improve processes
• Monitor the Quality Control results and work with R&D and QC teams to identify and implement improvements to test methods and procedures
• Manage QC master data (SAP, record files, QC specs, BBA quality plans)
• Evaluate and reduce product & process risk (Process capability, control plans, FMEA, MSA)
• Work with and support all departments across the 3 sites to improve processes, standards, systems and procedures
• Conduct supplier evaluations and work with R&D and Purchasing to specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Educated to degree level in Engineering/Science or related subject (Essential)
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (Essential)
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of SPC, statistical data analysis techniques
• Experience managing teams
