Job Title: Quality Manager

Are you a Quality Manager with experience in the Food Manufacturing industry? Do you have experience and knowledge of HACCP level 3? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a bustling Technical team.

Overview:

Our Client is looking for Quality Manager to join their bustling Technical team. This is a crucial role for the business, as you will be responsible for protecting the safety and wellbeing of their customers and therefore their brand by managing and maintaining Industry standards. As well as this you will also deputise for the Technical Manager as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Encompassing line management responsibilities
  • Ensuring sufficient resourcing is always available
  • Ensuring the training needs of the Quality Team are met
  • Ensuring team concerns and queries are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with customer and legal policies. Where non-compliant, work with stake-holders to develop action plans ensuring future compliance.
  • Investigate incidents and non-conformances, ensuring closure of non-conformances by relevant teams
  • Oversee internal archiving, document control and maintenance of all records in line with legal requirements

Skills/Experience Required:

  • 3 - 5 years' experience gained within a similar Technical role
  • Experience and understanding of third party audit requirements including BRC and major retailers
  • Experience and knowledge of HACCP level 3
  • Level 3 Food Safety Qualification
  • Microbiology understanding
  • An excellent standard of both verbal and written English
  • Proficient with using Microsoft office packages
  • Team management experience
