Job Title: Commercial Supervisor

Summary:

• To manage a team of commercial operatives, allocating best buying options to orders by trade lane.
• Working with a portfolio of supplier allocations ensuring demand and supply are correctly managed to achieve best potential margin.

Responsibilities:

• Trade-lane supply & demand analysis and market trends understanding
• Maintenance of accurate pricing database
• Providing an escalation point for disputes with supplier allocation & availability
• Supplier allocation tracking and reporting
• Co-ordination with Operations Managers to prepare monthly/quarterly supplier reviews
• Development of a market cost-pricing index

Requirements:

• Experience in Freight Forwarding
• Experience in Internal Sales/Commercial Roles
• Knowledge of FLOW
• Knowledge of Axis 2
• Knowledge of QRS
