Are you a professional Sales Manager with experience in Metrology? Our client is now recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover the South West Region. This is a new and exciting role offering the successful candidate great levels of variety, challenge and opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Working within the South West Region, the Area Sales Manager will develop existing customer accounts as well as develop new business in line with the company overall sales strategy.

The job-holder will support the implementation of the Business Sales strategy, ensuring sales activities are consistent with the aims and requirements of the Business.

This role will identify and pursue new sales opportunities, working alongside product specialist to develop technical customer quotations to meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have experience in Metrology.

You will have experience working in a fast-paced and demanding sales environment, with demonstrable success in the sales of engineering / measuring equipment to a wide range of clients in the manufacturing industry.

Previous experience in a similar area or regional sales management role and with prospecting, closing and growing business accounts is required.
