Position: Assistant/Intermediate Estimator

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum

An estimator in the construction industry, you will be responsible for compiling estimates of how much it will cost to provide a client or potential client with products or services. You will do this by working out how much a project is likely to cost and create budgets accordingly. The job involves assessing material, labour and equipment required and analysing different quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.

x Will be estimating up to 3 contracts/jobs at any one time.
x Full analysis of documents and breaking down the trades packages
x Make personal contact with the supply chain to ensure they are getting quality, not quantity.
x Getting out to the site to understand buildings and angles.
x Don't rely on the senior team, use own initiative.
