Job Title: Supply Chain Controller

Do you have at least two years' experience in a FMCG organization, within a Shipping environment and or with specific knowledge of Shipping Modes, Import procedures and Haulage? Do you have experience in food / drinks trade or similar FMCG organisations Goods Inwards and Warehouse functions? Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for administering the smooth receipt of orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring on time delivery whilst also managing exceptions.

Liaison for the day to day operation to both maximise cost savings and efficiencies, while supporting Service levels, reporting and providing analysis.

General Responsibilities:

  • Management and development of the role to be the conduit between companies. All queries and issues to be channelled.
  • Be the champion for Axis and provide training and support where required.
  • Overseeing the management of orders from receipt and delivery.
  • Proactively communicate with all key stakeholders.
  • Maintain the customer booking in process ensuring maximum capacity of receipts is not exceeded and ensuring a smooth profile is adopted.
  • Provide detail goods in plan to customer ensuring quantity, issues and type of receipt is updated and liaise on queries and issues.
  • Ensure that all the necessary documentation for the importation of EU and non-EU products accompany the consignments and ensure that all official documentation is completed and stored accordingly (Axis).
  • Maintain Order Status code on Purchase Orders and record conformity of suppliers to improve and maximise receipt efficiency.
  • Lead and drive Supply Chain Analysis, KPI Reporting and Continuous Improvement both internally and externally.
  • Attend monthly performance review meetings both at Park Royal and Thurrock.
  • Complete any ad-hoc tasks or strategic projects as defined and agreed.
  • Deal with any queries and provide any information which may be requested at any time on any of the duties listed above.

Professional / Technical Skills:

  • At least two years' experience in a FMCG organization, within a Shipping environment and or with specific knowledge of Shipping Modes, Import procedures and Haulage.
  • Experience in food / drinks trade or similar FMCG organisations Goods Inwards and Warehouse functions.
  • Experience or knowledge of Supply and Demand Planning functions, Stock control and order processes.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Logistics/Supply chain qualification or related Professional Body Qualification.
