Job Title: Quality Production Inspector

Do you have an Electronic Inspection, assembly and / or clean room based background? Do you have knowledge of Inspection Standards for mechanical and electronic assemblies? Do you have experience in an Inspection role within an electronics environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced team of people and company.

Main Purpose:

Responsibility for all inspection throughout Manufacturing and support Goods-In Inspection where required.

Main Responsibilities - Duties:

  1. Inspection to relevant standard, to include the following;
  • Mechanical and electronic piece parts
  • Hybrid electronic assemblies
  • Conventional and Surface Mount Soldering
  • Wiring
  • Product sealing processes
  • Product Labelling & Final Inspection
  • Space products
  1. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
  2. Provide timely feedback to supervisor / manager on any technical or quality issues that arise.
  3. Ensure all work & time is recorded appropriately through the CATS /PDC system.
  4. Assist with any Lean Six Sigma initiatives as required.
  5. Observe general housekeeping rules and maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
  6. Ensure that all Environmental Health and Safety / Company Policies are adhered to at all times.
  7. Assist in developing inspection practices and documentation.
  8. Assistance in other departments in order to meet Company objectives.
  9. Continuous Improvement, You will have responsibility to make suggestions on Continuous Improvement within the business; expectations are around 4 a year. This responsibility forms part all employees' job description.

Education/ Experience:

  1. Electronic Inspection, assembly and / or clean room based background is desirable.
  2. Knowledge of Inspection Standards for mechanical and electronic assemblies desirable.
  3. Experience in an Inspection role within an electronics environment is desirable.
