Are you a Sales Engineer with experience in the UK Rail Sector? Do you have a good understanding of mechanical rail components? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced team of people and company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales and marketing of service packages and spare parts in UK for products
- Work within the team to formulate, drive and manage the development and execution of the rail sales strategy to attract and expand new and existing business
- Maintain and build strategic alliances with key end users - OEMs, ROSCOs, TOCs and Service Providers
- Review and prepare quotations, tenders and commercial enquiries to secure a sustainable growth in sales.
- Provide technical support to new and existing customers
- Prepare and participate in presentations to customers and at exhibitions
- Review and report on market requirements and development
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in sales and preferably in the service area in the UK rail sector is a must
- Good knowledge of the UK rail industry
- Good understanding of mechanical rail components; electrical systems knowledge would also be an advantage
- Solid experience in key accounting or business development
- Carrying healthy clients contacts in the rail business
- Able to create a healthy pipeline and deliver sales orders
- Able to prepare commercial offers with the support of the organization, engineering, procurement, etc.
