Job Title: CRM Marketing Executive

Job Purpose

  • Planning and delivering CRM strategies across the organisation with a view to retaining existing customers, increasing brand loyalty and expanding the company brand.
  • Making sure the customer database is correctly segmented for targeted marketing activities.
  • Collaborating with all departments within the business, you will be responsible for co-ordinating resources and information in order to ensure that all communications deliver the business and campaign objectives, and campaigns are delivered on time.
  • Working with the product, ecommerce and marketing teams, deliver highly relevant and personalised omni-channel communications to customers.
  • You will be responsible for test and learn strategies that will help drive continuous improvement in our email designs, content and omni-channel communications to our customer base.
  • Coming up with creative ideas, preparing proposals, overseeing the production process & execution and reporting the results to the relevant people.
  • Reporting to the CRM manager, you will work with them to deliver the objectives set within the overall strategy of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Planning:

  • Communication planning is a key part of this role. You will be confident taking guidance from directors and department managers and turning this into a communications plan, which you will then be in charge of managing and implementing. It is your responsibility to propose the communications plan, content and agree it with senior management.
  • You will develop content ideas alongside the product team for the communications plan, including newsletter, campaign, promotional and programmes, and execute approved ideas across all channels.

Campaign Execution:

  • You will work closely with the product & ecommerce teams to ensure that all online content is ready for omni-channel execution. You will also be responsible for the sign off process of campaigns and programmes.
  • You will be responsible to code, build and test all emails and ensure they are ready for delivery.
  • Be responsible for communicating campaign content to the business to ensure all staff are aware of the content being sent to customers.
  • Be responsible for the day to day management and development of CRM programmes and campaigns and the monitoring of these to ensure these are being delivered successfully.
  • Be responsible for making selections and segmentation of the customer database for targeting across channels.

Analysis:

  • In order to improve campaign performance you will need a thorough understanding of what is and isn't working. You will work with the CRM manager to analyse CRM programmes and campaign performance, increase relevancy and create a plan for improvement. You will also be responsible for communicating campaign performance to the wider business.
  • Continual analysis of programme and content performance and feedback to management and the wider marketing team.

Testing:

  • You will be responsible for developing a testing plan, in order to make sure we are continually learning from our campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Email marketing experience to encompass planning, copy, content development, delivery and analysis.
  • A passion for digital marketing.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with enthusiasm & drive.
  • Ability to work on a wide range of projects to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of IBM Watson (Silverpop) or equivalent in HTML coding.
  • Knowledge of IBM Watson (Silverpop) or other email service provider management system.
  • An active interest in travel.
  • An understanding of customer relationship marketing.
