Job Title: Customer Service Manager

Are you a Customer Service Manager with experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment? Do you have a proven track record of successfully meeting team and company objectives? This is a hands-on position where you can excel in an environment that embraces teamwork, change and flexibility.

Summary:

Directly responsible for all Customer Service Team members, including a team leader. The Customer Service Manager will lead and motivate the Customer Service team to provide a high level of customer service at all times and in line with the company and team objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • To motivate team members to achieve team and individual objectives whilst maintaining a friendly but professional working environment.
  • Ensure quotations are issued to customers within the given timeframe.
  • Monitor and support the Customer Service Team Leader with any administrative, customer or product related queries.
  • Ensure that the Customer Service team handle communications with existing and potential customers in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
  • Identify any opportunities for improvement regarding processes, training, products or any other Customer Service related function and implement accordingly.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience of working in an office as supervisor/manager with a proven track record of successfully meeting team and company objectives
  • Positive and professional attitude with the ability to motivate others as well as commitment to Company and Customer Service objectives
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a good, friendly telephone manner
  • Computer literate and experience with the Microsoft Office package
  • Accurate written and typing skills
  • Understand and adapt to a changing sales environment
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Full UK Driving license
