Summary:

Responsible for the portfolio strategy, development of strategic product lines and product lifecycle, you will identify the most profitable market sectors, and will use all your proven business and financial skills to deliver the right products to the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with their internal sales teams, customers and supplier base, you'll help define, develop and manage their product portfolio, focussing on what the customer needs and wants along with their engineering options - pushing the boundaries and achieving customer service excellence.

Crucial is your ability to combine your technical and business knowledge with your relationship management skills and your commitment to customer service and delivering first class products.

Requirements:

  • Proven successful management and growth of a large physical range of products
  • A good grasp of technology and the hunger to keep learning
  • Have a logical and common-sense approach to problem-solving
  • Be able to effectively analyse business cases and financial viability
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Experience of product sourcing processes on a global scale
  • An understanding of core manufacturing processes
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • A creative streak focussed on customer and marketing requirement
