Job Title: Customer Service Engineer

Do you have CCNA Standard or higher? Do you have the minimum of 5 years extensive experience working with Cisco products, specifically 1900/2900 ISR's, 5000 ASA's and 2960 Switches? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced team of people and company.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and general network infrastructure, providing the day to day support of the service along with new solutions, and troubleshooting. This role works closely with deployment engineers and IT support staff to ensure timely rollouts and the wellbeing of other EMEA infrastructure.

Will be primarily responsible for:

  • Monitoring of systems and implementing required configurations to ensure availability, reliability, adherence to security standards, and optimal system performance.
  • Performing client consulting in the area of network engineering (hardware and software) using routers, switches, network security devices, protocol analysers, TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS, Routing.

Protocols:

  • Identifying and troubleshooting hardware and software technical problems related to wireless and LANs/WANs.
  • Plan, design, and implement necessary configurations to ensure compliance with back-up and disaster recovery policies and procedures.
  • Develop required documentation for system configuration, and support procedures.
  • Develop and maintain related standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Working with switches, routers and ASA devices.

Qualifications:

Technical/Professional:

  • CCNA Standard or higher
  • Strong experience of systems installation and support with LAN/WAN implementation and troubleshooting, including Cisco and Wireless gained in a systems installation, configuration and software upgrade environment, specifically:
  • IPSEC VPN's
  • WAN/LAN Routing
  • Minimum of 5 years extensive experience working with Cisco products, specifically:
  • 1900/2900 ISR's
  • 5000 ASA's
  • 2960 Switches

Preferred Qualifications/Proficiencies:

  • Exposure to Telco or Service Provider environments
  • Second Language
