Job Title: Electronic Product Engineer

Are you an Electronic Product Engineer with experience with microcontroller programming? This is a new role in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Expected to work under own initiative, prioritize own work load and meet agreed timescales.
  • Produce a functional PCB with inputs and outputs to solve specific tasks outlined in a specification.
  • Communicated and work with outsourced specialists when required.
  • Operate 3D printers for internal prototyping.
  • Develop knowledge of product family.
  • Develop appropriate documentation to support product certification as required
  • Delivery of technically compliant design deliverables in accordance with the specification provided by the project manager.
  • Liaising with oversees operations and suppliers to ensure any project related technical issues are resolved.
  • Drive all aspects of product development process such as prototyping, test plans, design validation.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, whilst keeping in direct contact with the senior management team.
  • Generate drawings required for manufacturing quotes.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Microcontrollers and Microprocessors.
  • Experience with PCB layout tools & Schematic generation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Capable of technical presentations
  • Strong problem solving skills to analyze customer issues and recommend solutions
  • Must be comfortable as part of a team
  • Experience producing 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings for manufacturing.
