Job description

This role will organise and arrange essential maintenance work around the Estate of stores and take a lead role in managing the Estates helpdesk, liaising with internal stakeholders to find effective solutions and achieving value for money with our contractors, as well as managing small projects and providing general administrative support to the Estates office.

You will be able to develop CDM and Health and Safety skills within the role, with the full support of our experienced and friendly team.

The role is based at our Central Support Office and there will be regular opportunities to travel to our stores.

About You

An enthusiastic candidate with experience in a similar role, who can demonstrate the ability to work calmly under pressure, as well as be able to think on their feet and communicate effectively, If you enjoy delivering results and relish an opportunity to develop your current skills and learn and develop then this role could be for you.

We Are Looking For Someone With

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Effective communicator both orally and written.
  • Good judgement, able to use own initiative.
  • Strong Excel/IT skills.

Preferable

  • Use of multi-site property management software such as CAFM.
  • Contract negotiation experience.
  • Construction Design Management experience.
  • Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • IOSH Working Safely or Managing Safely or equivalent.
