Job Title: Services Engineer
Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience in a food/FMCG environment? Are you a solid all-rounder with good fabrication/welding experience? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced team of people and company.
Summary:
To maintain current building's, P&M to a high standard, encouraging new processes throughout the site. Predominantly mechanical, electrical qualifications a bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out and record corrective maintenance on plant machinery and services quickly and efficiently ensuring the least amount of machinery downtime.
- Knowledge of Steam generation, Refrigeration, industrial water systems
- Carry out and record planned maintenance on plant machinery and services as scheduled by the Engineering Department.
- To ensure good communication with other Engineering Shifts and Production Supervisors of past and present breakdowns / malfunctions.
- Inform the Engineering Supervisor or Manager of any production downtime.
- To ensure fault logs are kept up to date and any outstanding faults are handed over to the next shift.
Requirements:
- Mechanical biased
- Solid all-rounder / completed an apprenticeship
- Good fabrication & welding skills
- Some electrical knowledge
- Prefer food background but not essential
