Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Are you an HR professional with experience providing comprehensive HR advice, partnership and support particularly with talent acquisition, talent development, and administrative requirements? This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent acquisition - recruitment and onboarding of new talent into the organization.
  • Guide supervisors and Managers in the development of staff to fulfil the needs of the business
  • Responsible for the HR administration of induction, appraisals, training, salaries and absence, including maintenance of HR records to satisfy legal and local requirements.
  • HR policies and procedures, commensurate with changing business needs, legislation and social trends.
  • Support and advise managers to ensure consistent standards of performance are maintained, including Disciplinary, Grievance and Performance improvement procedures.
  • Organise and co-ordinate all training to optimise expenditure, ensuring people are developed to their maximum potential with skills whilst matching the needs of the business.
  • Produce timely and accurate management information, e.g. monthly reports, headcount, salary, absence monitoring, and highlighting issues as appropriate.
  • To provide comprehensive HR advice and support to staff and managers particularly in the area of employee relations issues

Requirements:

  • Degree required, CIPD preferred
  • Good understanding of the HR role and HR principles within a complex business environment.
  • Strong IT skills (word, excel)
  • HR experience within complex multi departmental organization.
  • HR experience within complex multi departmental organisations of change, growth and acquisitions preferred. Both large and small company experience with exposure to HR within a Manufacturing Operation.
  • Work within HR with matrix reporting (dual reporting), and solo environment preferred.
