Summary:

Our client are part of a large American world leading manufacturer of industrial vaporizers and industrial gas equipment. They are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join their experienced team to offer application support, bespoke design and the implementation of ISO 9001 into the business.

Job Description:

Perform day to day activities for the European division of the group as an Engineer and Designer. The main focus of the role will be the design and engineering of pressure vessels to a variety of design codes, as well as aspects of the following as required: CAD drawings, product development, engineering calculations, cost evaluation and quotations, writing and interpretation of specifications and wind & seismic analysis. A secondary responsibility will be to assist with the management, implementation and administration of the Company's quality control system.

Applicant Requirements:

Candidate will have a degree in Engineering, skills and knowledge in the areas outlined above would be a primary requirement. Also, knowledge and interest in control, systems or electronic Engineering would be highly regarded. Recent graduates will be considered along with applicants with up to 2 years relevant experience.

Sound ability in engineering principles, creative design and technical drafting are key skills. Knowledge of pressure vessels, mechanical and electrical equipment and a familiarity with the principles of quality control are key skills, along with an ability to understand technical specifications, electrical schematics and process & instrumentation diagrams.

High motivation and initiative, along with good organisation and time management will also be important requirements.

Must be able to work well with and support current team members to develop and present solutions to customers, progress sales opportunities and provide additional support. Foreign travel to customer or group company locations may also be a requirement.

Computer skills and proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are required.
