Job Title: Mechanical Technician

We are currently looking for Mechanical Technician for our well-established client who will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to support the development activities of the Mechanical team with testing, fault finding, prototyping and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support interface between R&D and the rest of the business to assist with mechanical engineering issues. This will include 'hands on' support, telephone & email support to all areas of the business.
• Maintain and respond to Engineering Change Requests from production.
• Maintain and generate build instructions and test documentation for Products.
• Provide support to the Quality team with investigations and testing related to design issues.
• Assist with prototype build of pre-production products including engineering review of new products and major product changes.
• Ensure that new products are designed to comply with strict safety guidelines.

Skills Required
