Job Title: Technical Support Assistant

Summary: Our client is currently looking for a Technical Support Assistant to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support. You will be responsible for providing basic desktop and server support by determining customer issues, analysing symptoms and where possible, solving underlying problems, before considering escalation to 3rd line support.

A driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • User account management
  • Manage support cases to enable fast resolution that exceeds expectations escalating as required to level 3 support
  • Ensuring accurate recording of all cases
  • Provide a quality level of service and communicate complex issues to non-technical users
  • 2-3 years' experience in an IT Support or Service desk environment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Windows, all desktop and server versions
  • Hardware and software support
  • Experience of configuring desktop PC's, laptop and network printers
