Job Title: Construction Manager

Are you a Construction Manager with strong experience in Construction Management on commercial or agricultural buildings? This is a new exciting and challenging position for a hands-on Construction Manager who will ensure that the company's new offices and factory project is delivered in time and to the highest standard.

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in purchasing and procure materials and sub-contractors
  • Build manage and co-ordinate the project team.
  • Plan forthcoming resource requirements.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and in accord with agreed programmes of work.
  • Ensure incurred installation labour costs are in line with estimated costs.
  • Ensure attendance and preliminary costs are in line with estimated costs.
  • Ensure all works on site are undertaken in accordance with safe working practices and current Health and Safety legislation, be constantly vigilant to any actual or potential hazards and encourage such vigilance among all site personnel.
  • Ensure the installations are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and the contract drawings.
  • Formulate and implement site inspection practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of method statements, COSSH, Risk Assessments and Quality plans.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Construction Management on commercial or agricultural buildings
  • Capable of assessing quotations and suppliers
  • Strong project management background
  • Ideally a Chartered Construction Manager.
  • Ideally located within 25 miles of the Broadbridge Heath
