Job Title: Sales Engineer

As the Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for growing our clients well-established range of foreign body removal equipment, namely magnetic separation, metal detection and sieving equipment into the Food, Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and support an assigned customer base
  • Maintain and increase the volume of sales with existing and prospective customers through regular visits;
  • Work with and expand current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business;
  • Combine technical knowledge and sales skills to offer the product range in a competitive market;
  • Provide pre-sales technical advice, assistance and product education;
  • Coordinate sales project requirements through efficient time management;
  • Liaise and identify with customer needs to achieve agreed sales targets;
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with other Group departments;

Requirements:

  • Formal Engineering qualification (Diploma or Degree in Engineering)
  • Experience working within one or more of the following industry sectors is preferred: -
    • FBR
    • Powder Processing
    • OEM Equipment Sales
  • Experience of managing a budget, KPIs and strategy planning
  • Experience of selling to large end users, agents and system integrators in a manufacturing / process setting
  • Previous experience working within a similar role, selling capital equipment
