Job Title: Technical Compliance Engineer

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Compliance Engineer to assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring compliance of all their products to relevant quality standards, generally comprising of: compliance with National / EU / International standards, and CE compliance with EU Directives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with in-house and external laboratories in arranging product testing and assessing test results / reports for IP, IK, LVD Safety (EN60598), EMC, Photobiological, Vibration, Heat (25/40/50C).
  • Compliance with customer specific standards: S12, NR, DB, FGH, MoJ.
  • Maintenance of records & certification.
  • ENEC licenses.
  • VDE Approved place of manufacture
  • UMS Codes
  • ECA (Enhanced Capital Allowances) / SEAI triple E (Low Energy Lighting capital tax allowance schemes).
  • Certifications & declarations of Conformity.
  • Assist in compilation and maintenance of Technical Construction files and product compliance data.

Person Profile:

  • The incumbent should have practical experience working in a laboratory.
  • The incumbent should have a methodical approach and be able to think strategically.
  • Circa 2 years' experience in a similar role would be ideal, preferably experience in a laboratory / in quality control or laboratory product testing.
  • You should be comfortable to switch between an office-based role to a factory-based role, which will require movement around the factory, light physical activities, inspecting fittings, etc.
  • You should have further / higher education in either Production, Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
