Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
The Maintenance Engineer will work as part of a team, so the ideal candidate would be someone with excellent communication skills and who enjoys working collaboratively. In this role, you will be required to work unsupervised at times, so you will need to have initiative, be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and will be active in managing workload and KPIs.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying our various building maintenance tasks.
- Carrying out machine maintenance tasks and keeping good maintenance records.
- Assisting in machinery development projects.
- Assisting in the development of the company's preventative maintenance programme.
- Weekly fire alarm testing.
- Updating 5s maintenance sheets.
Requirements:
- Punctuality is essential in this role. You may be required to work outside of normal business hours on occasion, so flexibility is key.
- The role has varied tasks ranging from installing services and maintaining machines to small maintenance jobs around the building. As such, you should be able to prioritise tasks.
- Previous experience of building and machine maintenance would be an advantage, as would working with electrical installation 3PH and single phase.
- Any qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering would be an advantage.
- Use of scissor lift equipment would also be an advantage.
