Job Title: Senior Product Manager

Reporting to the Sales Director the Product Manager is responsible for determining customer needs and managing the product portfolio. This includes managing the product road map, responsibility for the delivery of NPD and IMP projects, product pricing/profit, managing > £1m annual budget. The Product Manager will be responsible for the Technical after sales team, ensuring customers are trained and supported.

This is a customer facing role and will require overseas and domestic travel, supporting the sales team with bespoke customer projects. The Product Manager will work closely with the Head of Design and the Marketing Manager to deliver product excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Translating business strategy into product strategy and driving action throughout the business to get products to market
  • Owning the product road map for all products within specific categories
  • Building up market vision; understand the brand, product requirements, pricing and competition in detail
  • Carrying out market research and recommending price positioning, and providing this detail and insight to stakeholders
  • Managing Third Party relationships including product selection, pricing and purchasing contracts
  • Giving expertise in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition
  • Identifying and communicating the key benefits and value of products to the rest of the business, supporting marketing plans.
  • Manage the technical support team, aftersales service and training.
  • Providing product support for the global sales team, supporting customer projects.
