Ledgers Manager required near Poole

OTE: upto £28,500

Location: Poole

Leading a small team and ensuring that all sales and purchase ledger transactions are processed and reconciled on a monthly basis. Liaising with teams to ensure payments to suppliers are authorised and ensuring all sales invoices are raised correctly. Set up new suppliers and amend suppliers' details on the ledger system and strictly manage credit control.

The Role of Ledgers Manager:

  • Reporting to the Financial Controller
  • This role will see you leading a small team and ensuring that all sales and purchase ledger transactions are processed and reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Varied role you'll be liaising with our attraction teams to ensure payments to suppliers are authorised in accordance with agreed terms, and ensuring all sales invoices are raised correctly across the Midway attractions.
  • You will also set up new suppliers and amend suppliers' details on the ledger system and strictly manage credit control.
  • You'll look after the centrally controlled processes for the division to include; insurance, parking recharges and company cars. You'll also be responsible for administering ad-hoc BACS payment runs and be involved in cash flow forecasting.
  • Coordination of the payroll process, you will be the key point of contact between attractions and the payroll team. With 4 direct reports, you'll lead, motivate and coach this small team to deliver to strict deadlines and service the wider business in a proactive and professional manner.
