The Role of Infrastructure Software Developer
- Design, develop, improve and support software infrastructure
- Ensure efficiency, ease of use, reliability and scalability of core software
- Develop and maintain libraries, shared components and technologies used for high end geophysical data processing
- Participate in design discussions
- Participate in large scale development and deployment projects
What are the key (minimum) requirements for a successful Infrastructure Software Developer application?
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another field with an emphasis on programming
- Strong technical skills to develop, debug and optimize applications in Microservices and DevOps
- Fluent in C++, Python and Linux programming.
- Understanding on Kernel and multi thread programming
- Exposure to Big Data technologies and databases
