The Role of HR Business Partner

Specific focus on employee relations, absence management, and employee engagement. Understanding the working environment and making creative suggestions on how to improve HR related content, initiatives and strategy, to support business objectives.

Some duties include but not limited to are:

  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Promote the support HR can provide, explain the impact
  • Contribute to the on going development of the 3 year HR business plan
  • Keeping in touch with the challenges facing the business and making commercially savvy recommendations
  • Coaching and upskilling line managers

What are the key (minimum) requirements for a successful HR Business Partner application?

  • Level 5 CIPD qualified
  • Undergraduate degree in a related subject
  • Good working level of ICT skills on applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Committed to delivering the utmost service/support to the business and our customers
  • Strong understanding of statutory legislation and procedures relating to HR
  • Advising line managers on generalist HR advice
  • Significant experience in managing complex employee relations issues
  • Substantial exposure to coaching and upskilling line managers to ensure compliance
