The Role:
The Business Development Manager role is field-based. Reporting to the Sales Director and covering the Field based covering the Midlands and north region, you will be primarily responsible for developing sales pipelines of the company's products and services nationwide. The key to your success will be your ability to develop meaningful sales opportunities with both existing and new clients, utilizing your market knowledge, positioning the company to enhance the client relationship and managing the sales process to a successful conclusion. A key aspect of this role will be to liaise closely at a strategic level with architects, consultants, main contractors and building owners such as local authorities or housing associations, securing specifications for façade products and systems, external wall insulation, specialist building boards, and through-wall solutions.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Developing good relationships with target clients
- Securing specifications for the range of our products
- Conducting presentations, attending exhibitions, and meetings on the company's behalf

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will have relevant experience of the construction industry with a good understanding of operational areas of the business.
You'll also need experience of commercial and technical façades/ ewi/ building boards knowledge.
Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

The Package:
Basic salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
