They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience in leading the finance function of a global medium-sized business incl. Managing finances of overseas subsids and suppliers.

The Role:
Reporting to the MD and based in the company's Newhaven office, as the Head of Finance you will be primarily responsible for managing and overseeing financial matters for the various businesses within the group; monthly management accounts; financial insights and commentary; various monthly financial reports; Company Secretary responsibilities; internal auditing; the management and development of accounting policies; systems, processes and personnel involved. Involvement and input into strategic financial decisions and investments; ensuring rigour in delivering returns and evaluating performance.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Overseeing the preparation of the monthly management accounts and other key reports (cash flow, P&L, working capital and KPIs)
- Contributing to strategic planning and development as a member of the senior leadership team
- Producing and distributing key financial reports to the Executive and management team at group and individual company level and also to seko (parent company)
- Business and financial strategy and planning for the group (ongoing / annual plan / strategic plan)

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Head of Finance role will have relevant experience of leading the finance function of a global medium-sized business incl. Managing finances of overseas subsids and suppliers.
You'll also need experience of manufacturing as well as mergers and acquisitions.
