The Role:
Reporting to the MD and based in the company's Newhaven office, as the Head of Marketing And Product Management you will be primarily responsible for leading and setting the strategic direction for all aspects of marketing across the group. Given the nature of the business, a specific focus is needed on product management and development, and the design and development function will report into this role. This role will lead the generation of management intelligence to support and drive business success in the chosen markets and product portfolio, determining the key economic trends, markets, products, services and channels necessary for accelerated levels of growth.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Driving a market focussed business ensuring aligned thinking between market analysis, product & service development, channel strategy and external promotion of the company
- Building up a marketing vision to optimise the portfolio; understand the key trends driving future success, brand value, product and service requirements, pricing, competition (current and future) and future profitable channels to market
- Initiate sustained and consistent programmes of market research and customer surveys to provide quantitative and qualitative evidence that provides robust platforms on which all marketing activities can be based, providing this insight to stakeholders

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Head of Marketing And Product Management role will have relevant experience of demonstrated success in a senior leadership role.
You'll also need experience of financial skills (incl P&L understanding) as well as building strong relationships internally and externally.
In addition, it's essential that you possess a marketing specialisation / focus as part of further education.
