Position: Quality Engineer
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
We're looking for a talented Quality Engineer to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of having a working knowledge of iso9001 with the ability to interpret drawings, routings, bills of materials & procedures.

Reporting to the Quality Manager and based in the company's Slough office, as the Quality Engineer you will be primarily responsible for providing technical expertise & assistance to Senior Managers within the business for key areas within quality, provide a technical link between the company and its suppliers & customers. You will act as the point of contact for all quality issues both internally and within the supply chain. You will give exceptional levels of support to operations in problem-solving and continuous improvement at all stages of the process.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Maintaining the quality management system to ensure continued compliance to iso9001
- Executing the internal audit programme
- Supporting cost down initiatives including visiting suppliers and sample approval
The ideal candidate for this Quality Engineer role will have relevant experience of having a working knowledge of iso9001 with the ability to interpret drawings, routings, bills of materials & procedures.
You'll also need experience of auditing both products and processes.
Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of quality tools such as problem-solving, 5s, vsm, visual management, kaizen, 8d will be an advantage.
