General Manager

General Manager based in Crawley.

Key Responsibilities of General Manager:

  • Coach your team of van-based Field Sales Representatives to achieve sales benchmarks.
  • Coordinate regular sales meetings and training courses to focus the whole team.
  • Be completely responsible for unit P&L, regularly reviewing performance against plan and taking action to improve or accelerate performance.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operational management, business controls and legal compliance, from health and safety and truck safety standards to stock management.
  • Manage your people resource; recruiting, training, reviewing and motivating your team to top performance.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership; inspiring a team will be second nature.
  • Be experienced in managing a field sales team, ideally in a van sales environment.
  • Have demonstrable success of previous P&L responsibility.
  • Be practical and hands-on, as you will regularly be out and about with your field sales team and driving our 12t vehicles when required.
