As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and coordinating of Direct Programmes, recruitment and performance managements of staff within the Direct Area and ensure that the training offer run smoothly, to a high standard, and meets stipulated targets that are set for the organisation.

Development of new systems and processes alongside embedding quality and contractual compliance with the support of other staff. Contribute to initial advice, guidance and enrolment as required; ensuring that learners are enrolled onto appropriate, achievable but challenging training programmes. To act as a Safeguarding Officer for LLC in line with role descriptor for Designated Safeguarding Office.

  • To assume a proactive role in the curriculum planning process providing expert advice and support to develop an appropriate and cohesive curriculum that is aligned to local and national priorities to ensure the provision offers relevant qualifications, avoids duplication, and maximises learner opportunities to progress to positive outcomes.
  • Coordinate, monitor and manage training, education and employment contracts to ensure the manage programmes are planned and delivered to a high standard and performance milestones achieved
  • Contribute to the quality assurance processes and journey to outstanding, including self-assessment and observation of teaching-learning and assessment, sharing of good practice which result in the raising of standards and outcomes for learners.

  • Teaching qualification.
  • Strong Further Education and contracting knowledge.
  • Knowledge and experience of FE funding methodologies to monitor and maximise income.
  • Significant industry-relevant experience.
  • Experience of effectively managing, developing, delivering and monitoring training provision.
  • Relevant successful teaching experience.
  • Experience of using MI systems to analyse data and provide reports.
  • Experience of managing staff.
  • Experience of innovation and creativity in curriculum design and delivery.
  • To have a proven track record of successful relationship building, partnership working, problem resolution and outcome achievement.
