Job Purpose

The Senior Marketing Manager, B2C is key to connecting our B2C customers to our purpose and driving our reach, influence, and impact. They will be responsible for owning and driving the delivery of all marketing programmes and plans that support customer acquisition, retention, and engagement for that customer segment. All marketing programmes and plans will be audience and insight-led and delivered across key global markets.

The role will be formally based at our London offices in Wimbledon. We operate a flexible and hybrid working system enabling employees to work from home and the office as needs require.

Key accountabilities

The role will be focused on leading on the delivery of B2C targets set for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement (customer satisfaction and value (£)). These will be achieved by managing, and leading on the efficient delivery of marketing programmes, plans and strategies across a range of channels, audience groups and markets.

The role will:

  1. Work with the marketing leadership team to define and execute marketing programmes, plans and strategies that deliver annual targets for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement across key markets
  1. Lead the B2C marketing team to translate marketing strategies into insight and audience-led marketing programmes and plans
  2. Lead on developing and delivering an overarching marketing plan for B2C customers
  3. Work with the B2C Marketing Managers to define and deliver a series of digital marketing programmes
  4. Lead the development of end-to end customer journeys that support conversion, upselling and cross selling
  5. Oversee the delivery of high-quality and highly effective marketing programmes and assets that not only meet customer needs
  6. Work with the marketing leadership team to drive change and innovation and optimise marketing performance and ROI
  7. Work with the Finance team and B2C Marketing Managers to set, manage and forecast marketing budgets for B2C, regularly reporting on progress, impact, and ROI
  8. Lead, develop, and motivate the team

Nature and Scope

Working closely with the marketing leadership team, the Senior Marketing Manager, B2C will manage and drive the delivery of short and long-term marketing programmes and plans that attract, nurture, convert and engage key audience groups. They will work with senior stakeholders to set annual lead, conversion and financial targets for members, learners, subscribers, students, and line managers. You will be responsible for leading on the delivery of efficient marketing programmes and plans that convert.
