Business Development Manager - Broadcast Hardware

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager to develop a growing presence in the EMEA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation of new business opportunities in broadcast and audio/video applications.

Job Purpose

This role will involve a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret client requirements to enable the sale and management of the process. Although fully supported we would expect this role to be capable of working to uncover new opportunities within broadcast and capitalise on these to generate growth in sales.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop new customers and new opportunities in the broadcast market
  • Achieve sales targets across the portfolio of hardware products and systems
  • Generate, track and close projects for new business opportunities
  • Follow up leads and gain an understanding of the customer's requirements, including site visits to provide solutions to match their requirements
  • Extensive client and prospect visits within the designated European region.
  • Provide feedback on market and product trends and competitors to maintain our market position

Skills & Experience

  • A background in selling technical solutions with the ability to quickly absorb and interpret new/complex information is an advantage
  • Proven track record in broadcast sales and inclusive customer relationship management desirable
  • Commercial understanding, with an ability to negotiate and manage customer expectations effectively
