As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, involves seeking guidelines as to the level of authority that the role has in making any commitment to the supplier, overcoming complex contractual issues and gaining concurrence and validation as to the strategy to be employed in order to deliver the end business result needed.

  • To ensure frequent and close coordination of suppliers & the company business lines, driving to ensure that business and customer requirements are executed to the required targets.
  • The ability to take direct coaching as provided and apply it independently acting as the representative for the company.
  • Creation of strategies with appropriate contractual mechanisms required for the development of the Component Repair business line, for example ensuring robust supply chain Service level agreements are created
  • Delivery of cost reduction for the assigned allocation by developing competitive strategies and contractual competitiveness
  • Providing support to the commercial team and analysis of customer bid requirements

To be successful in this role of Strategic Sourcing Manager you will hold an MCIPS qualification.
