The Senior Marketing Manager for B2B and Channels is key in connecting our customers to our purpose and driving our reach, influence, and impact. They will be responsible for owning and driving the delivery of all marketing programmes and plans that support customer acquisition, retention, and engagement with employers and via Channel Partners. All marketing programmes and plans will be audience and insight-led and delivered across key global markets.

They will also be responsible for driving the channel marketing strategy across key markets and supporting channel partners and strategic partners to acquire, convert and retain new customers (individuals and employers).

Key accountabilities

The role will be focused on leading on the delivery of targets set for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement (customer satisfaction and value (£)). These will be achieved by managing, and leading on the efficient delivery of marketing programmes, plans and strategies across a range of channels, audience groups, markets, and partners.

The role will:

  1. Work with the marketing leadership team to define and execute marketing and sales programmes, plans and strategies that deliver annual targets for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement across key markets (includes the delivery of marketing qualified leads for the sales team to convert)
  1. Lead the B2B and channel marketing in translating marketing and sales strategies into insight and audience-led marketing programmes and plans
  1. Lead on developing and delivering an overarching marketing plan for employers and channel partners
  1. Build and maintain collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners, strategic partners, and key employers
  2. Work with the B2B Marketing Manager and Channels Marketing Manager to define and deliver a series of digital marketing programmes
  1. Lead the development of end-to end customer journeys
  2. Manage the development marketing and sales support and assets for employer facing teams and channel partners
  3. Work with the marketing leadership team to drive change and innovation and optimise marketing performance and ROI
  4. Work with the Finance team, the B2B Marketing Manager, and the Marketing Manager for Channels to set, manage and forecast marketing budgets, regularly reporting on progress, impact, and ROI
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the team (2 direct reports and team of 5).

Nature and Scope

Working closely with the marketing leadership team, the Senior Marketing Manager for B2B and

Channels will manage and drive the delivery of short and long-term marketing programmes and

plans that attract, nurture, convert and engage key audience groups. They will work with senior

stakeholders to set annual lead, conversion and financial targets for employers, members,

learners, subscribers, students, and line managers.

The Senior Marketing Manager for B2B and Channels is an important role they will work closely with the marketing leadership team, regional directors, and Head of Employer Solutions to define and agree marketing programmes, plans and strategies across key markets. They will play an integral role in leading on customer engagement and revenue growth.
