As the Design Estimator, you will be responsible for managing, preparing, and creating quotations for tender and design enquiries. Assist and support the Design Team in reviewing tender documents to offer a competitive design solution in line with the companies procedure and strategy and develop a close working relationship with contractors and consultants to ensure relevant information is available and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Design Team with basic design works, specifically;
    • Creating and updating schematic and demarcation drawings using AutoCAD
    • Creating basic 3D coordination models using Revit
  • Assist the sales team in managing projects on Simpro, specifically;
    • Creating leads for new Tender and Design Enquiries
    • Ensuring relevant communications are captured and stored
    • Creating Quotations
    • Develop, maintain and update standards for Quotation Templates;
  • Assist in reviewing contract conditions and incorporate the Company's requirements within a written tender submission document

We would love to speak to anyone for the Design Estimator role who has the following experience:

  • Experience working in engineering environment with a good understanding of the design and construction process
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as integrate into the established team
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit beneficial, but not essential.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and drainage drawings
  • Ability to develop, manage and maintain successful relationships, both internally and externally.
