As the Electromechanical Engineer you will be supporting the continuous improvement of our clients growing range of innovative chemistry equipment. You will be working in the R&D team and liaising closely with Production to help manage the lifecycle of new and existing products.

We would love to speak to anyone for the Electromechanical Engineer position, who has the following experience:

  • Managing and delivering product improvement projects (proactive and reactive Continuous Improvement)
  • Electromechanical and mechanical design upgrades at component and system level using SolidWorks software within a SolidWorks PDM system
  • Quick and efficient product engineering solutions to minimise assembly downtime
  • Sourcing (materials, suppliers, sub-contractors)
  • Risk analysis and mitigation of component and supplier bottlenecks
  • Testing (establishing test protocols, collecting, and analysing results, reporting)

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A degree in electromechanical engineering
  • 5 years minimum working experience in an industrial or R&D environment with a track record of delivering projects on time and to budget
  • Continuous Improvement / product lifecycle management in an engineering environment
