Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to employ a personable and motivated Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. You will be responsible providing mechanical solutions to the department on new product development, modifications, and support existing product families. In addition to:
- Provide detailed mechanical engineering designs to meet project requirements and timescales.
- Ensure that designs are properly verified according to engineering procedures and comply with relevant regulatory standards.
- Approval of designs and engineering changes for general release.
- Writing of reports and planning for long range projects - present to customers along with mentoring.
To be successful in the role of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, we would like to speak to anyone who has experience in the following:
- Experience working at a similar level as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a particular focus on the design of electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Proficient experience in the use of CAD tools ideally SolidWorks.
- Experience and the ability to coach and mentor others and build team cohesion.
- BEng/MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering is preferred.
