As the Workshop Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the warehouse, the Health and Safety of the workshop and warehouse as well as playing a vital role in the supply chain process, managing the storage, maintenance and shipping of equipment and assisting with the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment for site visits, ensuring that targets are met in support of the smooth running of projects.

  • Support the project team with the preparation, mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment.
  • Maintain stock levels of consumable items and PPE, ordering from outside suppliers as required.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to strict Health and Safety guidelines and assist with the inspection of equipment.
  • Respond to emails from across the organisation.
  • Updating the company databases, keeping records up to date.
  • Arranging shipments and arranging the relevant documentation.

We would love to speak to anyone for the Workshop Supervisor position, who has the following experience:

  • Good standard of general education, with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English, Maths and Science) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in updating Excel spreadsheets.
  • Competent use of email.
  • Highly accurate with an eye for detail.
  • Health & Safety conscious.
  • Pro-active hands-on approach to work.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • "Counterbalance" forklift truck licence is highly desirable.
