Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Do you have the minimum of 3 years' experience within payroll preferably with a client based service provider? Do you have in depth knowledge of 'good practice' payroll processing and procedures? Overview:

Reporting to the payroll manager you will be working as a payroll administrator, processing end to end payrolls for our clients' variable payment periods.

Responsibilities

  • To accurately calculate and process payroll based on clients specific requirements.
  • To fully test any changes to the system which affects the calculation of the payroll.
  • To provide client with all required reports adhering to deadlines.
  • Ensure payroll has an up to date guidance on each clients' requirements.
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of PAYE.
  • Deal with all payroll queries in a timely manner.
  • Keep up to date with changes in payroll related legislation Provide backup for other payroll team members.

What you will need to succeed

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within payroll preferably with a client based service provider.
  • In depth knowledge of 'good practice' payroll processing and procedures.
  • Be up to date with current PAYE legislation and have an understanding of Auto Enrolment pensions and salary sacrifice schemes coupled with the ability to efficiently use payroll software
  • Be proficient in the use of Sage 50 payroll, MS Excel and Word. Knowledge of Xero software would be an advantage.
