Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Are you a Technical Support Engineer with an IT related Degree? Do you have previous experience working with SQL database languages? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a manufacturer of technical devices and solutions for harsh environments around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Providing Helpdesk Support to partners and end customers on Real Time Location Systems (AeroScout/Stanley MobileView), Wireless Network Deployments (Cisco, Aruba), and RFID Systems (Omni ID, CAEN RFID)
- Logging tickets and escalating internally and to partners/suppliers
- Assist R&D in the development and testing of new products
- Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating practices
- Maintain and setup internal support systems and provide demonstrations to customers
- Create training material and deliver training to customers, partners and internal personnel
Skills/Experience Required:
- Ideally you will hold an IT related degree
- You must have an excellent understanding of wireless network devices and protocols
- Previous experience working with SQL database languages is essential
- You will have the ability to interface with our customer/supplier base and have the communication skills required to understand their needs, whilst considering the needs of our business.
